Breakfast tacos have become a renowned staple of the Austinite diet and with so many great taco joints to dig into, we’ve decided to pick four of our favorites. Try one of these locations within 10 miles of Springs at Lakeline:

1. Torchy’s Tacos

Recently voted as “America’s Greatest Taco Spot” by the Foursquare community, Austin’s own Torchy’s Tacos is located just 10 minutes from Springs at Lakeline. Be sure to try their famous Green Chili Pork Taco, which includes pickled onions, jack cheese, a dob of guacamole, and tomatillo salsa. You can also tell your waiter to “make a trashy,” and have your taco served on top of queso dip.

Tacodeli, not only serves up some of the juiciest tacos in Austin, but with it’s locally brewed coffee and many charging ports, it’s also just a great place hang out. Try their popular El Conquistador for the best culinary experience—a homemade chile pasilla sauce over slow-roasted pork shoulder, fresh onions, cilantro, and creamy avocado.

3. Vazquez Restaurant

If you crave the traditional Mexican taco experience, Vazquez Restaurant is just the place for you! They have a variety of savory, homemade-style tacos with all the fixings. Their chorizo and egg breakfast taco is one their biggest hits, but they also have a high-quality lunch and dinner menu.

Top Taco is a convenient, affordable little taco food truck that makes tacos fast, fresh, and flavorful.
