5th Annual Christmas Around the World Christmas Tree Exhibit
November 22 - December 17, 2014
Art Museum of South Texas

For the past 5 years, the Junior League of Corpus Christi, H-E-B, and the Art Museum of South Texas have teamed up to present the Christmas Around the World Christmas Tree Forest contest. Each year, local schools are invited to select a country, conduct research, create decorations, and decorate a Christmas tree in a way that reflects the culture of their chosen country. From there, the trees are brought to the Museum where visitors can learn more about each country and vote on their favorite. In the end, the top 3 trees are awarded prizes and all trees are donated to underserved families in the Corpus Christi area. The exhibit is open during normal museum hours, so make sure you check it out before voting ends!
