Owner Pete Schones' grandfather opened Denver's first professional bike shop in the mid-1960s, and his parents founded a bike shop of their own in 1984. When you visit, be sure to check out Pete's gallery of vintage family photos. Hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. every day but Sunday.

Adventures Unlimited sells and rents mountain, road and city bikes and features a service department for maintenance and repairs. The bike shop opened by Pete Schones' parents in 1984 lives on today as Adventure Cycling under the ownership of Erik Swanson, an experienced competitive cyclist. Adventure Cycling offers unique features such as a dedicated Fit Studio and the Fixit, a permanent work station where customers can complete DIY repairs when the shop is closed. Hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday except Wednesday, when the shop closes at 5 p.m.
