October 17, 2016

Haunted_Halloween-OKC.jpgThere's no better way to enjoy the fall weather and get in the spirit of the season than by visiting some Halloween-themed locations and events around town! If you're ready for a spooky thrill, then take a look at the top Halloween attractions in Oklahoma City this year.

1. Frontier City Fright Fest
11501 N I-35 Service Rd.

For the ultimate thrills and chills, Fright Fest is your go-to place. Every Friday through Sunday of October (lasting through the 30th), Frontier City offers a wide range of freakishly fun Halloween activities, including a haunted house, scare zones, and even a trick-or-treat trail for the little ones. Some activities are free with general park admission but others, like the haunted house, have an additional charge of $5. Make sure to check ahead before going.

2. Orr Family Farm
14400 S Western

Orr Family Farm is bursting with fall activities! Check out the classic stuff like the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and hayride, or take part in something more intense like the "saving the farm" zombie apocalypse paintball fight. Prices vary by activity, so make sure to check the site here.

3. Haunt The Zoo
2000 Remington Place

From October 26 to the 31, 6:30 to 8:30 nightly, the Oklahoma City Zoo turns into a festival of spooky fun for the whole family. The little ones are encouraged to wear their costumes and walk down the pumpkin-lined path of themed booths to collect treats, and adults are also welcome to wear their own costumes, too! Admission is $7 for trick-or-treaters, and $4 for non trick-or-treaters.

4. The Sanctuary Haunted Attraction
12101 N I-35 Service Rd.

This event is targeted toward the adult crowd, and children are not advised to visit. With Hollywood-style set designs, special effects, and gory costumes, you're guaranteed a healthy scare. Dates range through October 31, and general admission costs only $20. Haunted houses only come once a year, so don't miss out on this holiday fun!

5. Bricktown Haunted Warehouse
2 S Mickey Mantle Dr.

From October 21 through October 31 you can experience the Bricktown Haunted Warehouse hosted by the Oklahoma City Dodgers. The ballpark as you know it will be transformed into a chilling site, with plenty of scares around every corner! This event is too scary for the little ones, so be sure to keep kids under 13 at home. Admission is $15, or $25 for VIP, which allows you to skip the line.
