More than four million twinkling lights are displayed throughout the event, and plenty of food will be available so you won’t leave hungry.

The Holidays with Philbrook Festival
2727 South Rockford Road

The Philbrook museum comes to life during the holiday season, with thousands of lights and a variety of holiday-themed artwork adorning its interior and exterior walls. Every Thursday night between December 3rd and 31st the museum features live music, glowing garden walkabouts, and festival artists that turns the space into a winter wonderland of adventure. On December 7th, visit the museum for a Centerpieces and Celebrations presentation which will teach you tips and tricks for throwing holiday parties of your own.

The Glitter Ball
609 W. Sheridan Avenue

Dunlap Codding in historic Film Row will be the site of the second annual Glitter Ball on December 12th. There’ll be a variety of live performances to enjoy, delicious hors d’oeuvres, a premium bar and even some surprises. The Ball benefits three local nonprofits, Sunbeam Family Services, OKC Girls Art School, and the deadCenter Film Festival and will also feature art for auction with proceeds going to the OKC Girls Art School. Preceding the ball, Santa can be found in Dunlap Codding’s courtyard for photos at the family-friendly “Christmas with Santa” event. It’s free to attend, so bring all of your loved ones to mingle with Santa and support some great causes.

The Oklahoma City Ballet Presents the Nutcracker
The Civic Center Music Hall

Discover the mystical story of the Nutcracker between December 12th and 25th at the Civic Center Music Hall. The show received a facelift in 2014 with fun new sets and fanciful costume designs and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic will be performing for the ballet. Special activities are planned before and after each performance and dancer meet-and-greets are scheduled after matinees.
