The Oklahoma City area hosts plenty of fun winter festivals and events throughout the chilly months. Here are five top activities you don't want to miss.

1. OKC Boat, RV & Tackle Show

Whether you're looking for a new boat or just like to admire what's available, this show is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house. Vendors include Perfection RV, Matt's RV, Tiny Homes of Oklahoma and Grand Lake Boat Sales. There will also be a dog jumping show and a fishing pond for the kids. The event takes place January 12 – 14, and tickets are $10 for adults and free for children ages 12 and under.

2. Professional Bull Riders: Built Ford Tough Series
Chesapeake Energy Arena
100 W Reno Ave, Oklahoma City

If you love watching professional bull riding, then you can't miss this opportunity to watch it live! Attend Saturday January 20 at 7:45 p.m. or Sunday January 21 at 1:45 p.m. Tickets start at just $35 per person. You'll be amazed how tough these riders are!

3. Cirque Musica Presents Heroes & Villains
OKC Civic Center Music Hall
201 N Walker Ave, Oklahoma City

Come see some of the world's best acrobats and circus performers pair their act with music performed live by the OKC Philharmonic. The show is based on heroes and villains from some of your favorite comics and television shows. There will be two showings: one on Friday January 26 at 8 p.m., and another on Saturday January 27 at 8 p.m. The performance will be held in the Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theater, and tickets start at just $19 per person.

4. Devon Ice Rink
Myriad Botanical Gardens
301 Reno Ave, Oklahoma City

If you haven’t been out ice skating yet this winter, here is your chance. The Myriad Botanical Gardens' ice rink is staying open until January 28. Tickets are just $13 per person including a skate rental or $8 if you bring your own skates! Practice your turns and tricks, or just gently skate around the rink with someone you love. 5. OKC Home & Garden Show
State Fair Park

Come discover new decorating ideas, potted plants and more at the OKC Home & Garden Show. There will even be a Tiny Home Village where you can see how people live well in less square footage. Find something new to decorate your apartment, or discover the perfect gift for a loved one. Admission is $12 per person, and the event is held January 19 – 21.
