3 Restaurants Perfect for Mother's Day Brunch in Tulsa

May 05, 2016

Mothers-Day-Brunch-Tulsa.jpgMother's Day is coming up, and if your mom's going to be in town, take her to one of Tulsa's best brunch spots for some delicious food. While you could prepare a meal for her in your well-stocked Springs at Woodlands South kitchen, a brunch can be so much nicer because of the variety of dishes and attentive service. Here are some of the brunch events happening around Tulsa for Mother's Day.

1. The Melting Pot
300 Riverwalk Terrace, Ste 190 (in Jenks)

For a special treat, head to the Melting Pot for a set-menu Mother's Day event. Bookended by cheese and chocolate fondues, the menu includes two salads and five entrees from which you can choose your meal. The price for adults after tax and tip is set at $36.95 per person; children 12 and younger can get a child's plate for $24.95, not including salad. If the set-menu doesn't appeal to you, you can choose up to four dishes off the regular brunch menu instead. You also have the option of having the restaurant provide one of three additional gifts at the table for Mom: a box of chocolates, a bouquet of flowers, or the Melting Pot's own cookbook.

2. The Chalkboard
1324 S Main St

For a hearty choice of buffet dishes, head to the Chalkboard for its Mother's Day brunch on May 8. For $42 per adult and $12.95 for children 3 to 12, you’ll have a choice of salads, hot dishes like roasted chicken breast, cold dishes like hummus and bruschetta, iced seafood, and carved meats. The buffet menu will be available between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., so be sure to make a reservation.

3. Lucky's
1536 E 15th St

If you and your mother would rather dispense with the special events and just have brunch together at a restaurant with an extensive menu, go to Lucky's, which is known for its weekend brunches. Appetizers, sandwiches, breakfast entrees — whatever you want to eat, Lucky's will likely have it. Prices range from the single digits for starters up to $16 for dishes like steak and eggs.
