Event_Venues_Tulsa.jpgIf you’re lucky enough to host an event in the exciting and eclectic city of Tulsa, you owe it to yourself to choose a venue that lives up to the city’s delightful reputation. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a party, or a corporate retreat, check out these five unique venues and event spaces.

1. The Urban Campout
1209 S Frankfurt Ave

Touted as Tulsa's "only indoor campground," The Urban Campout can be rented for three hours, between 9 and 5 p.m., or overnight for up to 50 guests. The "campsite" comes equipped with tents, artificial campfires, and chairs, as well as a stereo system, refrigerator and freezer, a DVD movie projector, ping pong tables, and more. Imagine your guests' amusement as you invite them to campout downtown!

2. Tulsa Garden Center
2435 S Peoria Ave

Built in 1919, the Tulsa Garden Center is a historical Italian Renaissance building that features chandeliers, marble, and ornate detailing. Located in historic Woodward Park, the three-story mansion has six different rooms available for any size event including dinner parties, corporate meetings, receptions and weddings.

3. Tulsa Air and Space Museum
3624 N 74th E Ave

For a completely unexpected venue, consider hosting your event at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. You can rent the Exhibit Hall for up to 280 guests, and all attendees will have the opportunity to marvel at both vintage and modern-day aircraft, or check out historical displays and exhibits.  A second (and equally exciting) option is the museum’s planetarium, which accommodates up to 110 guests. You and your friends, family, or colleagues will be treated to a view of the universe beneath a 50-foot dome.

4. Farthing Hills
1400-1698 N 70th W Pl

If you’re in the mood for breathtaking views in a gorgeous surrounding, Farthing Hills is an excellent option for your event. Nestled within the awe-inspiring Osage Hills, a wedding or event at this venue offers views of both rolling hills and the downtown Tulsa skyline—a unique combination nearly impossible to find. With a 180-degree panoramic setting, sunrises and sunsets it’s hard to find a more photographic location than Farthing Hills.

5. Harweldon Mansion
2210 S Main St

Voted the "Best Wedding Venue" by Tulsa World readers in 2015 and "Best Wedding or Party Venue" by Oklahoma Magazine in 2015, no list of Tulsa venues and event spaces would be complete without this sparkling gem. Personifying the glamorous age of the 1920s, Harweldon Mansion features a grand staircase, a private bridal suite, and stunning stained-glass windows. The mansion accommodates up to 125 guests and can be booked for smaller parties and events as well.

Tulsa is a lively city bursting with energy and waiting to be explored, so kick your event up a notch at one of these five venues.
