1. Longmont Farmers Market

Regulars at the Longmont Farmers Market enjoy the under-the-radar vibe that makes it feel like a local treasure. Popular weekly features include live music, free kids' activities and a food court, and artisan shows are held the fourth Saturday of the month. The market is located on the Boulder County Fairgrounds, so free parking is plentiful, and there is also a complimentary bike valet service. Hours are 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. each Saturday through November 17.

2. Four Seasons Farmers & Artisans Market

True to its name, Four Seasons is a year-round indoor market. During the summer, the facility expands with the Ridge at 38 Outdoor Market. Bring your leashed dog along to stroll among the stalls offering fresh produce and baked goods, kids' activities and free popcorn and coffee. Hours for the Ridge at 38 are 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Saturday through October 20.

3. Farmers Market at Fairgrounds Park
