Do you offer month to month or short term leases?
Yes! We offer flexible lease terms from 7-18 month leases. After your lease ends, we can explore options and you may roll into month to month status when possible.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes! We allow two pets per home, with the exception of service animals, and do not have any weight restrictions. To learn more about our pet-inspired amenities and breed restrictions, visit here.
Do you verify an applicant’s income?
Yes, every applicants employment and income is verified during our application process.
What are your requirements for leasing an apartment home?
Every resident at The Centro must undergo a credit and criminal background screening. Every residents rental history and employment with be verified as well. More information about our screening criteria is available from the leasing center.
What are your application qualifications?
To become a resident at The Centro, every applicant must meet the following rental qualifications:
Must make 3x the rent
Must have no evictions
Must have good rental history
Must not have a criminal background history
Do you accept section 8?
No, we do not participate in this program at this time.
Do you have storage units available?
Yes! We have ample storage units available for an additional monthly charge. Contact us to learn more about this option!
Current Residents at The Centro
Why doesn’t my water bill show up on my bill?
The water and sewer bills are billed in the arrears to allow for accurate readings from when you moved in. Your first utility bill will likely show up on your third month's statement.
Is renters insurance required for residents?
You do not need to take any action to sign up for renter’s insurance. We will automatically enroll you in the Get Covered Master Policy program. This program satisfies our insurance requirement and provides up to $10,000 in content coverage for your belongings. It’s one less thing to worry about during your move! If you would like to us a third-party insurance company you are welcome to. Please contact our office for more information.
Can I transfer to another unit?
Absolutely! We love finding solutions for our residents. We can find you another apartment home based on available apartments and the timeframe in which you wish to transfer. Call the office for details and options!
What should I do for a storm emergency?
We highly recommend you visit the local government website for recommendations on how to prepare and what steps you can take during storm emergencies. You may also sign up for the local Lee County alerts.

If we do not meet your expectations within 30 days of your move to our community, we will release you from your lease*
* Any issues should be reported to your property team immediately, and we will do everything in our power to rectify the situation. If for any reason you still choose to leave, written notice will be required and we request that you share an explanation with the Property Manager so we can work to avoid the same situations in the future. This process must be completed, and you must vacate the premises and return your keys before the close of business on the one month anniversary of your move-in date. All final charges will be assessed per standard policy, and your deposit (up to the standard unit amount) will be surrendered. For more information, please contact your property team.
