How do I access First Stop Health as a resident?

After you move in, you’ll receive simple setup instructions to create your account and start using the service.

Can everyone in my home use it?

Yes! Residents can have up to 7 family members on their account. The Head of Household on your account will get the activation email and then can add family members to the account. You as the resident get to choose who is considered a family member, whether they live in the home or not.

What does it cost?

This is offered as a resident benefit. If a provider recommends prescriptions, lab work, or in-person follow-up care, those costs may be separate.

Is virtual care the same as emergency care?

No. First Stop Health is for non-emergency needs. If you believe you’re experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What if I’m having trouble logging in or using the app?

First Stop Health support can help with account access and technical issues, and our onsite team can point you in the right direction.

Will Springs at St. Charles have access to my healthcare information?

We will not have access to any of your healthcare information. First Stop Health is a medical provider and is subject to HIPPA laws, preventing them from sharing this information, and Continental has no intention to seek out or using your medical information.

I already have health insurance so this isn't useful to me.

First Stop Health can supplement your Health Insurance by offering you a no-cost solution rather than going into urgent care or seeing the doctor, which generally comes with a co-pay attached to it. It's mental health and wellness coaching might be something extra not all insurance providers cover at no cost to you.
