July 4th Celebrations in Bradenton and SarasotaWithout a doubt, lounging poolside will be part of many residents’ 4th of July celebrations at our Springs apartment communities in Bradenton and Sarasota. If you also plan on venturing outside the apartment community for some festive fun, here are the most anticipated July 4th events taking place in Bradenton and Sarasota:

1. Fireworks Spectacular Over Sarasota Bay
July 4 at 9 p.m. — Bayfront Park, Marina Jack Trail, Sarasota

If you're lucky enough to be on a boat on Tuesday, July 4 in Sarasota, you'll want to experience the awe of the annual Fireworks Spectacular over Sarasota Bay. Even viewing the show from land at either Bayfront Park or Island Park will not disappoint! 

2. All-American Cookout
July 4 from 6 to 10 p.m. — Selby Gardens, 900 S Palm Ave, Sarasota

Get the festivities started early by enjoying an American barbecue dinner at Selby Gardens. Dance to the live tunes from SoulRCoaster and let the kids take part in the variety of family-friendly activities. The bay front location of Selby Gardens makes the venue the perfect spot to view the fireworks show over Sarasota Bay. The cost to attend the event is $25 for garden members and $35 for guests (includes dinner).

3. 4th of July Fireworks in Siesta Key
July 4 at 9 p.m. — Crescent Beach, 6499 Midnight Pass Rd, Sarasota 

This year will mark the 27th annual 4th of July fireworks display in Siesta Key, which is expected to attract as many as 30,000 spectators. The fireworks will be launched from behind the volleyball courts, so good areas to view the show include Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), the Gulf, or along the Intracoastal waterway.

4. Baseball and Fireworks
July 1 at 6:30 p.m. — McKechnie/LECOM Field, 1611 9th St W, Bradenton

What's more American than baseball and fireworks? Come watch the Marauders take on the Fire Frogs Sunday, July 1 at 6:30 p.m. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will be given free t-shirts, and there will be a patriotic themed jersey auction. Be sure to stick around after the game for the biggest post-game fireworks show of the season over the baseball field. Tickets start as low as $6.
