What’s Going on in Corpus Christi? The Eagle Ford Shale Job Fair!

Not only is Eagle Ford Shale significant in terms of our state, but based on the amount of capital invested (nearly $30 billion), this group of oil fields also ranks as one of the biggest oil and gas developments in the world. Two hundred rigs are currently running in Eagle Ford, with further development expected for decades.

This all means big business for our local economy. The Eagle Ford had a $60 billion dollar impact on the local South Texas economy in 2012 and supported more than 116,000 jobs in the area. The goal of the job fair is to continue filling positions that range from entry-level labor to professional management roles and everything in between.

The job fair will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at American Bank Center, 1901 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi.
