Mommy Meetups in Des Moines

The mom groups listed here have categories in working moms, stay-at-home moms, single moms and moms of preschoolers. You're sure to find one that interests you or you can relate to. The mom meetups are often scheduled to take place at local eateries or in the park or a museum. 

Mommy and Me Classes 

Mommy and me is an interactive play group for mothers and babies. Spend time playing with your child and helping them to develop their motor skills at the same time. Groups start at 4 to 10 months, 10 to 19 months, 19 months to 2 1/2 years and 2 to 3 years.

Small Discoveries -The Science Center

Small Discoveries opens at 9:00 a.m. at the Science Center. This is an event for parents and children to learn and explore together. Created for families with children under 7, the exhibits are fun for any age. And your child will love exploring Toddler Town, specially designed just for little ones.

YMCA of Greater Des Moines Swim Classes

The YMCA has swim classes for all ages. Waterbabies classes are for ages 6 months to 1 year, and 1 1/2 to 3 years, Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 12 years. The organization also offers Before and After school groups, a preschool program, childcare, summer camp and water sports.

Baby Center-Des Moines Moms

Baby Center is an online magazine for anyone raising a child from birth to teen years. They have groups in the community that you can join to chat with other moms who understand the situation or can relate to what you're going through. Share parenting advice, recipes and make new friendships.

Circle of Moms-Des Moines Moms

Circle of Moms is another great mom resource by way of chat, messaging and email. This mom group is dedicated to help young mothers by sharing stories and offering advice that helped them to succeed in their parenting challenges.
