Take dad out for some fun in the sun at SandVenture Aquatic Park. Make a splash on the 300-foot water slide and 12-foot drop slides, or just relax on the sandy beach. Pick up some refreshing drinks and food at the on-site concession stand. Father's Day hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and dad gets in free. Admission is $7 for guests 48 inches and taller, while under 48 inches is $5, and no charge for kids one year and younger.
When it comes to the zoo, even dad turns into a kid! Admission is free for all dads on Sunday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission at IMAX is buy-one-get-one, regular price apparel at the gift store is 20% off, and all dads get a free cookie with a coffee purchase at the Penguin Café and Wild Java. Tickets for other family members are $18 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-12.
Pizza and beer just might be the world's perfect combination. Enjoy both with dad on Saturday, June 17 as you spend an afternoon touring St. Paul's top breweries. Start off with pizza and a pint at Flat Earth Brewing, then head over to Summit Brewery and finish at Wabash Brewing. The tour runs from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and tickets are $85 per person.
Dad deserves more than one day of celebration. Check out the 23rd annual Stone Arch Bridge Festival, taking place June 16–18. Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. on the 16th with a concert at Water Power Park, and the next two days are filled with live music and art displays. Other activities include a classic car show, beer sampler and family-friendly entertainment. Food and beverages are available for purchase, but other events are free. Hours are 12 to 8 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
