Take a break for some games, product samplings and more in Crackaxle Canyon before ending the evening with the stunning "Lights of Liberty" fireworks show, taking place each night of the festival. Get discounted admission when you purchase tickets on the website.

3. Freedom Fest
Historic Market Square

Independence Day is a perfect occasion to celebrate the rich multicultural heritage of our country and state. Historic Market Square is the host of a three-day festival with live music from acts such as fusion artist Ruben V, Southern rockers Whiskey 2 Step and keyboardist Augie Meyers. In between shows, take in the colorful sights, sounds and flavors of what has been called "the largest Mexican market outside Mexico."

4. Fourth of July Artisan River Walk Boutique
Downtown San Antonio
Friday, July 1 through Monday, July 4

No celebration would be complete without an event at San Antonio's most popular attraction. For four days, River Walk will be lined with artisan booths featuring unique handmade items that make great gifts or beautiful accessories for your Springs San Antonio luxury apartment home. Create your own customized "festival" by including visits to restaurants, museums, shops and other entertainment options that make up the one-of-a-kind River Walk.

5. Independence Day at the Alamo
