1. Bonham Exchange
411 Bonham Street

Located in a 120+-year-old building, Bonham Exchange has plenty of history on its own. Over the years it has hosted legendary acts like Iggy Pop, the Ramones and Debbie Harry. The audience has been equally star-studded with Prince, Charles Barkley and other celebrities making visits. With bars and dancing on three floors, the party never ends. Saturday nights at Bonham Exchange are broadcast live on 94.1 FM.

2. Rebar
8134 Broadway

This popular Alamo Heights nightspot is a perfect venue whether you want to bust a move on the dance floor or chill out with a cool drink. Contemporary twisted-metal decor adds to the lounge-like feel. Live music is provided by top San Antonio and Austin performers and there is never a cover charge. Take a break from dancing and head out to the 30-foot Patio Bar to relax over a beer.

3. Heat
1500 N. Main Avenue

Heat contains four fun-filled venues in one. Party on the spacious dance floor in the Main Room or enjoy your favorite beverage in the Front Bar. Chill video lounge and the HEATed outdoor patio round out the eclectic choices. Fuel up for the evening at Heat's partner, Luther's Café, just across the street.

4. Club Sirius
228 Losoya Street

Located in hip La Villita, Club Sirius keeps the music pumping with skilled DJs and video mixing on five screens. Be sure to try one of their signature drinks, the sweet-sour Chamoy Margarita. The "You Can't Be Sirius" challenge will keep you coming back to try the 100 types of shots listed on the board.

5. Thirsty Horse Saloon
2335 NW Military Highway

Would the list be complete without a country honky-tonk? Grab your friends and head to Thirsty Horse for an evening of two-stepping and line dancing.
