Winter is a time for hearty comfort food, but during summer it's lighter, healthier fare that takes center stage. Fortunately, there are a number of farmers markets near our Springs San Antonio luxury apartment communities where you can get the freshest produce, baked goods and specialty foods.
1. Pearl Farmers Market
312 Pearl Pkwy, San Antonio
15.4 miles from Springs at Live Oak
Pearl is home to the third location of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, so it's no surprise that top-quality ingredients are right around the corner. Each weekend more than 45 vendors, each located within a 150-mile radius of San Antonio, put their goods on display. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is devoted to producers only, while artisanal and prepared foods get the spotlight on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
