1. Carmelo's Restaurant

At Carmelo's not only will you find authentic Italian dishes, but the ambiance is one that will truly make your heart flutter this Valentine's Day. Since this is such an ideal dinner spot, reservations are preferred to secure a table.

2. Covert Park at Mt. Bonnell

For the nature lovers, Covert Park at Mt. Bonnell has some of the most beautiful scenic views in Austin. Take a quick hike to watch the sunset and have a romantic picnic together under one of their picnic shelters or tables. You don't need reservations for a nature trail, but you might want to get there early to secure a good spot before the sun goes down!

3. The Scarlet Rabbit

Located just outside of Austin in Round Rock, The Scarlet Rabbit is quirky and charming, and features adventurous bites, such as Duck Lollipops, or Fried Oyster Nachos. Dinner is served every Monday through Saturday, 4 p.m. to  9 p.m, and, with limited indoor space, reservations for Valentine’s Day will be a must!

4. Copper Restaurant & Dessert Lounge

If you've got a sweet tooth, Copper Restaurant & Dessert Lounge is a fun option for a Valentine's Day treat! This locally owned restaurant specializes in desserts, signature cocktails, and contemporary American cuisine with an authentic, spicy Texan twist.

Be sure to try their wine and flight menu if you aren’t up for a full dinner meal, as well as their specialty cake ball menu. This sweet little treat will make a lovely gift or surprise for your date, and it’s what makes the restaurant truly unique to others in the area.
