Where to Ring in the New Year in Chicagoland

Chicagoland offers a wealth of New Year’s parties, making it nearly impossible for residents to choose just one. If you’re not sure how to ring in 2018, try one of these events in the Chicagoland area surrounding our Springs apartment communities.

1. Kashmir at Ballydoyle
28 W New York St, Aurora

On New Year’s Eve, Kashmir will play at 9 p.m at Ballydoyle. Admission is just $20 and includes party favors and a midnight Champagne toast. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the party will rage on until 1 a.m. Ballydoyle Irish Pub & Restaurant always has delicious food and a wide assortment of libations, so you’re guaranteed a satisfying night.

2. Live Shows at the Hollywood Casino
1 W New York St Bridge, Aurora

The Hollywood Casino in Aurora has two shows taking place on New Year’s Eve. You’ll find Good Fellas on the Center Stage from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. if you want to start the party early. The band plays a rocking selection of Motown, rockabilly, swing, pop and more. At 9:30 p.m., the Center Stage will give way to the 80’s cover band, Hi Infidelity. As always, the casino also offers a broad selection of slots, table games and poker. On-site dining is available at the Fairbanks Steakhouse, Epic Buffet, Take Two Deli and Producer Lounge.

3. Big Night Chicago New Year’s Eve Gala
Congress Plaza Hotel, 520 S Michigan Ave, Chicago

If you want to go big with your New Year’s celebration, you can’t do any better than the Big Night New Year’s Eve Gala. This event includes food buffets, full bars, party favors and multiple dance floors and party rooms. Standard tickets include drinks and party access. 4. Brew Year’s Eve

Brew Year’s Eve begins at 8 p.m. and brings ten different Chicagoland breweries together for the festivities. You can sample 20 different craft beers, 5 signature cocktails and a wine bar. Snag hors d'oeuvres as butlers glide past with their trays, and indulge in a pizza buffet as the night wears on. Live music and fun photo ops will ensure that no one gets bored at this event.

5. Rock Around the Clock
Hard Rock Café, 63 W Ontario St, Chicago

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Hard Rock Café in Chicago and dance the night away with the city’s hottest DJs.
