If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant for taco night, Benny's Tacos has you covered. Some of the favorite taco fillings include carne asada (seared to order) and barbacoa (blend of brisket and tender cheek). The corn tortillas are also out of this world with a coarser, homespun texture.

3. Taqueria Rancho Alegre
251 14th St SE, Loveland
970.461.3952

Taqueria Rancho Alegre is a reliable source for high-quality, inexpensive tacos. While the restaurant is small, it offers some of the best authentic Mexican food in the area. If you plan to dine in, be sure to give the margarita a try. Want to expand beyond tacos? Order the green chili to compliment your meal.

4. Tortilleria La Autentica

970.663.9114

This establishment is the most authentic tortilleria in the Denver area. If you're not familiar with what a tortilleria is, it's basically a bakery for tortillas. While this is not a traditional sit-down restaurant, it's a great place to score a soft taco on-the-go made with a freshly pressed tortilla. The prices are hard to beat, too. About $6 will buy you three tacos with a side of rice or beans.

5. Tacos Al Molcajete
926 Main St, Longmont
303.776.4649

This casual Mexican restaurant will quickly become your favorite place to grab tacos in Longmont. While the menu is in Spanish, there are pictures that accompany the menu items to make it easier to order. All orders are placed at the counter, and there are several tables to choose from if you want to dine in. When you eat at Tacos Al Molcajete, you're not coming to this restaurant for the ambiance — you're coming for the authentic, out-of-this-world tacos. Favorites include the Al Pastor taco, Asada taco, and Cabeza taco.
