5 Places in Rochester, MN to Watch Super Bowl LIIOur city of Rochester, MN sits about 90 miles from Minneapolis, the host city for this year's Super Bowl. On February 4, 2018, football fans from around the world will descend on Minnesota to watch the biggest even of the football season—Super Bowl LII. This premier sporting event will take place at the state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium and is the first held in Minnesota since Super Bowl XXVI. If a Super Bowl ticket isn't in your budget, there are several great places close to our Springs at South Broadway apartments to watch the big game. We've found five local bars and venues that regularly show sporting events, from weekly match-ups to championship games.

Dooley's Pub

Dooley's Pub on 1st Avenue SW hosts NFL Playoff Game parties and can be your home for Super Bowl LII as well. Just three miles for the Springs at South Broadway apartments and close to the Mayo Clinic, Dooley's offers "Hot food in the heart of Downtown." Their menu includes items like Kobe beef sliders (and five other slider varieties) as well as build-your-own-pasta, and their popular Dooley's Nachos. The pub also boasts numerous flat screen televisions so you can cheer on your favorite Super Bowl team.

Wild Bill's Sports Saloon

Kick up a good time on Super Bowl Sunday at Wild Bill's Sports Saloon. Located on 17th Avenue NW, this independently owned and operated venue is known for its 25 homemade wing sauces and rubs plus its wall-to-wall HD televisions.  

Crooked Pint

On the north side of Rochester, about eight miles from our Springs at South Broadway apartment, the Crooked Pint sits on Commerce Drive. It's down the street from Costco and close to Badger Ridge Park. At "the Pint" you'll find classic pub food that's been taking to the next level—perfect for the biggest football party of the year. On Super Bowl Sunday plan to indulge in a gigantic pretzel, Ale House nachos, or "Totchoes" (made with tater tots). The Crooked Pint has several big-screen televisions throughout the venue plus a 120-inch HDTV.

Wildwood Sports Bar and Grill

Locals head to the Wildwood Sports Bar and Grill on 16th Street SW for brews, burgers, and the big game. The venue regular hosts special events and features several large screen televisions that are perfect for catching every minutes of Super Bowl LII. They offer a casual dining experience with a diverse menu that even includes gluten-free appetizers.

Bears Den Sports and Bar Eatery

Located on Highway 14, the Bears Den Sports and Bar Eatery offers a casual, sports-themed venue with daily specials and a Beer of the Month. At Bears Den football fans will find eight big screen televisions, ideal for catching every pass and play on Super Bowl Sunday. The menu offers a variety of appetizers as well as entrees that range from burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and more.
