Soak up the Fun at the Olmsted County Fair (July 25-31)

Olmsted-County-Fair.jpgWho doesn't love visiting the annual county fair for rides, games, food, and special events? Springs at South Broadway is less than two miles from the Olmsted County Fairgrounds, so put this on your calendar and read about some of this year’s highlights:

AgStar Miracle of Birth Center

Between July 28 and August 1, make sure you visit the Miracle of Birth Center to witness baby farm animals coming into the world! The whole family will delight at seeing these baby animals and have the opportunity to learn more about agriculture in our community. Farmers, veterinarians, 4-H members, and FFA members will be on site to answer questions and discuss the importance of livestock and farming.

Exciting Events and Competitions

Everyone loves the live events at a county fair and the 2016 Olmsted County Fair will not disappoint. Events scheduled include a demolition derby, ATV Big Air Tour, bull riding contest, and of course the famous tractor pull. Fair admission is free but the Grandstand events require tickets. Classic Fair Food

Forget health food for a day and devour some fair food! There will be a huge variety of food vendors with options to satisfy the whole family, no matter what they may be craving.

Rides and Games

The Olmsted County fair will offer plenty of ride options for all ages, guaranteed to bring screams of delight. If the rides aren't your thing, then step right up to play one of the many games.
