If you've ever had the poor experience of tasting an overly sweet margarita from a pre-mixed concoction, you can rest assured you won't have that experience at Hefe Rojo. The restaurant prides itself in using only the freshest of ingredients, and this doesn't stop with its margaritas. If you're just going for the drinks, pair them with the house salsa (made with smoked tomatoes and onions) or the guacamole and bean salsa, which are both served with homemade chips.

After just one trip to Dos Amigos, it could easily become your go-to place to grab a margarita. Tequila buffs can splurge for the top-shelf margaritas, but the house version is also delicious. A favorite entree at this restaurant that pairs well with the margaritas is the parrilladas, which is very similar to fajitas.

If you're getting together with friends for margaritas and chips and salsa, El Carambus would be a great place to meet. Unique from other Mexican restaurants in the area, El Carambus offers a fantastic salsa bar with 10 different varieties from which to choose. The prices may be a little higher than other Mexican restaurants in Rochester, but the quality of the food and drinks definitely make it worth the splurge.

Plaza Morena is known for its enormous portions and good prices, and the same goes for their margaritas. You can score an excellent margarita here for just $4.99. If you're feeling extra hungry, give the cheese dip or carne asada a try. Both are great options to pair with your margarita.
