What's not to love about a good sports bar? You get to hang out with friends and have better seats and food than you would if you were actually at the game. The lively social scene in Fort Myers includes several fine sports bars that are fun to visit even if there is no game on. We've made a list of four of the most popular locations for you to check out. One of them is bound to become your favorite!

1. Lee Roy Selmon's
5056 Daniels Parkway
Fort Myers 33912

This restaurant's namesake was the first member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to enter the NFL Hall of Fame. The menu is based on the delicious Southern dishes Lee Roy's mother prepared back home in Oklahoma. Enjoy classics like fried green tomatoes, Mama's meatloaf and the Selmon Brothers' wings grilled with their special Oklahoma sauce. The recipe is posted online so you can make a batch for your own tailgating parties. Order one of the draft beers in a 50 oz. or 100 oz. beer tube if you dare!

2. Miller's Ale House
4400 Kernel Circle
Fort Myers 33916

With a name like Miller's Ale House, you know you're bound to find the casual, welcoming atmosphere of a neighborhood bar. Their mission is summed up in the slogan, "A Reel Great Place to Catch a Good Time!" The full-service bar carries more than 75 brands of bottled and draft beers, with everyday specials on favorites like Guinness, Budweiser and Dos Equis. Settle in with a pint and a plate of their signature "Zinger" boneless chicken wings and watch the game on one of the many HDTVs.

3. Stevie Tomato's Sports Page
9510 Market Place Road
Fort Myers 33912

Stevie's is well-known as a gathering spot for local Chicago Blackhawks fans, but they have enough TVs to show any game that's on. In keeping with the Chicago theme, the menu includes Chicago hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and gyros. Get a combo with one of each for only $11. Other popular items include Chicago-style pizza and baby back ribs, both award-winning dishes. A different food special is offered each day, and two-for-one drinks are featured on Fridays.

4. Nick and Stella's Family Sports Pub
15271 McGregor Boulevard
Fort Myers 33908

If you're looking for a place where your whole family can watch the game together, this is it. Owners Nick and Stella Karras focus on creating a warm, casual atmosphere where you will feel right at home. Three of their 40 TVs are outside on the patio so you can enjoy the beautiful weather without missing a play. The menu has a Greek and Italian accent with items like spinach pie, gyros and calzones, but it also includes traditional bar favorites such as chicken wings and fish and chips.
