5 Fun Holiday Activities in Tulsa

1. Tulsa Winterfest

Tulsa Winterfest runs through Sunday, January 15. During this time, you’ll find 9,000-square-feet of layered ice just begging you to step out for a skate. Just $10 gets you admission to the rink as well as skate rental. Attend with a group of 10 to 30 guests and pay just $7 a person. Groups of 31 to 50 are $6 a person, and groups larger than 50 get a discounted rate of just $5 a person.

On Saturday, December 10 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. or 10 to 11:30 a.m., you can enjoy breakfast with Santa at Winterfest. You’ll enjoy a full breakfast as well as a visit and photo with Santa.

2. Kringle’s Christmas Land

Tulsa

The Promenade Mall goes above and beyond for its Christmas festivities with Kringle’s Christmas Land. View an animated Christmas Town display, Santa’s workshop, and a  charming forest scene. Snow and other special effects make this an immersive experience. The display is open through Saturday, December 31 and tickets are just $7.

3. Philbrook Festival

Tulsa

During the Philbrook Festival (Nov. 19 to Dec. 31), the Philbrook Museum of Art takes on a festive air, awash in twinkling lights. Lush Christmas trees and enticing gingerbread houses come together with beautiful pieces of seasonal artwork to create a fascinating display that’s a must-see around the holidays. The exhibit is free to the public during Philbrook Second Saturdays, on December 10, and on select nights, you can view the lights for $5 after 5 p.m.

4. A Christmas Story at Tulsa Little Theater
1511 S Delaware Ave
Tulsa

Catch the holiday classic, A Christmas Story, at the Tulsa Little Theater in December. Shows take place at 7:30 on Friday, December 9, and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on December 10 and 11. Tickets are $22.75 for all performances, so be sure to snag yours now to guarantee a seat.

5. Ugly Sweater 5K
River West Festival Park
2100 S Jackson
Tulsa

The Ugly Sweater 5K promises to be a hilarious spectacle that will add fun and fitness to the River Light event. The One-Mile Fun Run starts at 4 p.m. with the 5K kicking off at 4:30 p.m. Awards for both the race and the ugly sweater contest will be handed out later in the evening, and participants receive an ugly sweater Christmas ornament, along with a themed race shirt.
